13th December 2019
Nothing says Christmas like watching a festive favourite. With that in mind on Wednesday, the 5th of December Piccadilly Place hosted its first outdoor film night. There was a large turnout of tenants ready to get stuck in to watch Kevin McCallister causing chaos in Home Alone.
Giant bean bags and branded deck chairs were set out in the Piazza beside the sparkling Piccadilly Place Christmas tree, while the trailers started rolling and tenants took their seats to watch the feel-good Christmas Classic.
Independent eatery, Fundamentum were on-hand, serving up some of their delicious festive bakes, hot wintery drinks and out delivering pizza directly to people’s beanbags!
Although the weather was cold, everyone kept warm by wrapping up in their Piccadilly Place blankets. The blankets were sold for £5 each with all the proceeds going to one of Andy Burnham’s Charity ‘A Bed Every Night’ which is a wonderful local initiative helping to provide a bed, warm welcome, and personal support for anyone who is sleeping rough.
The Christmas Spirit is now in full force in Piccadilly Place!
